What's wrong with not being allowed headwear? It's not really that big a deal, is it? You won't always agree with everything that happens around you, but I suggest you save your battles for something worth fighting over. Besides, it is considered very impolite to wear a hat indoors regardless what you see happening around you all the time. It's really not very respectful when you do. Hats should be removed any time you are inside, especially while sitting at a table eating. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Cheers!!

Hi, I've been trying to remember the name of a really old movie that I watched when I was younger. It was probably meant to be "scary" but, like I said, it was old. All I remember about it was that it was set in a really strange town (I want to say western) and there was a family who going on vacation there. The town was deserted, I think. Towards the end, the parents of the family became possessed by the "curse" that the town supposedly upheld and the kids ended up getting away. I was charged with furnishing minors with firearms, principal in the 1st degree for armed robbery, contributing to deliquency of minors and so on ( her cousin was involved also, she was 14 but her charges were dropped ). I believe I took the girl's virginity, we had met on Cpixel ( social network long before MySpace and Facebook ). She grew marijuana for me, even stole her parents guns to give to me. My charges ultimately were dropped due to "lack of evidence." I gave the girls the guns and organized the string of robberies, but I never actually did it, myself. Also, I didn't pursue the girl. She found me on Cpixel and engaged me. This isn't the only instance of using minors to commit acts of crime. I've also used some local kids to sell marijuana and ecstasy for me a while back. I even slept with a 12 year old when I was 19 ( she lied and told me she was 15 ). The control is very empowering, to be totally honest with you. I don't feel comfortable around adults because I believe adults only deal with you when they need something from you. Also very judgemental. What is going on with me?

My weanling colt is acting up?

So I've got a 4 month old weanling colt that I'm working with and he's acting up. He tries to paw at me, kick me, and bite me. When he does I smack him with a broom handle and it seems to help for a while but then he does it again. We sold his mom the day after he was born and were bottle feeding him twice a day until about a month ago because he was just such a pain to feed. It took him a few days to start eating hay but now he eats it no problem. I'm trying to sell him so I need to get him to stop all this crap. ok i recently started taking a new prescription medication to help control my temper and hyperactivity, its called Invega. i also take prescription allergy medicine for my sinuses. i started off taking Loratadine but i stopped taking it because they thought it was reacting bad with my Invega. i take a new allergy medicine now and i still feel the same. i dont know the name of it i just started today, ill update this when i get home. but what happens is almost like a panic attack, im starting to feel it now. it comes on slow though and it doesnt often get bad, it only did once. but its scary! i feel anxious, nervous, almost paranoid to... i feel as though my chest is slightly cold, and my breathing is irregular; sometimes its like im hyperventilating, other times its like i have to remind myself to breathe! my hands get hard to control, the movements are jerky and twitchy, so i apologize for the typos in here... i feel almost light weight. when it gets bad my body starts to twitch uncontrollably but not like a siezure, im still awake and have SOME control... but i twitch constantly and even my eyelids blink a lot. i get overall scared and worried. whats going on? what allergy medicine can i take without this happining? if you answer please check back because i will be updating this wehn possible, im in school now so i cant do it all at once.

Need advice to help my cat's cold go away?

I just took my cats to the vet for the same thing and the shower is good for them that's one of the things I was told to do. your cat should be on meds for the cold but I understand times are hard so keep doing everything you are already doing alot keep in mind that if a cat cant smell its food it wont eat to try giving it some wet food warm it up a little first. Also the vet told me to give my cats L-Lysine in that wet food twice a day take one pill and crush it and mix in the food. other then that theres not much you can do but hope it gets better. I have 5 cats and all have runny noses watery eyes and sneezing I feel so bad for them but im doing all I can as you are so keep it up your doing great. But the hot shower is good for them it came right for the vet. hope this helps

hi, i had my wonderful son in sep 06. in june 08 i had a silent miscarriage at 7 weeks but found out at my 12 week scan. i was devistated. in nov 08 after separating from my husband i found out i was expecting twins but i lost that pregnancy as well at 9 weeks. i am now pregnant again with a new partner and am about 6 weeks gone. not only am i petrified of it happening again but i think it might be twins again. not only have i lost twin but he has in the past as well and not only that but he was one of a twin that died at birth. is there anyone that can advise me or been in a similar situation????

How to cover ugly hard wood walls?

I'm 17 and my mother and I are moving out of a rental house into a house that she bought. My bedroom will be in the basement and the walls are covered in bulky stained hardwood. I find them repulsive but my mother loves them and since I won't be living there that long she won't let me take them down or paint them. I'm looking for a clever way to cover or hide them without damaging them. I've thought about putting drywall over them but we aren't sure if the basement leaks, it looks like it does. Suggestions?

Is my 125cc motorcycle slow because of a 25% drop in compression?

a 125 cc motor is really not designed to give you a real great top speed. the only tests i'd advise would be a head presure leakdown test just to verify its rings are seating well. a smaller sprocket will give you some top end. your compression test was supposed to be the wet test by the way so it was good. I like using genuine Honda parts myself anyway. a larger piston would help as it increases your cubic inches and thats power. Id also try jetting the carb and porting the exaust a bit to get a tad more.

Early pregnancy possibly detected on fertility monitor?

After my miscarriage at 8 weeks we started trying again. I didn't know when I would ovulate but my doctor told me it could be 2 to 4 weeks. 4 weeks after the miscarriage I started having cramps like ovulation and the stringy discharge (sorry TMI). I just knew I was ovulating then. I took an OPK test strip and got a bold 2 lines. This went on for a couple of days. I asked a friend who works at my doctors office if this meant I was ovulating and she said if the OPK stayed positive for more than 3 days that I was possibly pregnant. They did a blood test and I was. I never had a period in between. To answer your question, I think that you are pregnant because of the high readings on the fertility monitor. And yes, if you are experiencing any symptoms this early your HCG levels are much higher and that is a good thing. Sorry my answer is so long but I do hope you are pregnant. Good Luck!

It's ok if you swallow it. It's just topical anesthesia. The feeling of numbness will wear off in 5 minutes. Most people feel the need to spit. Either way it will numb the area applied. Private university and services not rendered?

I am a nursing student. When I paid this semesters tuition (private school) it was for an 8 hour course one day a week. After I paid and got my schedule they changed the cl to a 7 hour cl and made the other 1 credit hour a separate cl. My issue is I am failing and if they didn't take that one hour credit portion away and make it a separate cl on a different day I would be ping. Is there any legality with that? I mean I paid for something and services where not rendered in the way in which I paid for them. The teachers say they can do it because in their syllabus it says a teacher can change the syllabus to their discretion. I understand that but we don't get the syllabus till after we start the cl and I don't see how the syllabus has anything to do with changing the whole course. What are some good methods of gaining stamina?

I smoke and drank heavily for the past few years. One day I decided to quit both and get back into shape and live a healthy lifestyle. I have been jogging everyday.I also box at an amateur level. I am moderately strong and fast, I get spooked in matches and sometimes back off from fear of over exerting and losing my breathe, I have been lucky the past few matches, because my opponents made bad mistakes giving me an easy KO opportunity. I know for a fact that if I get in the ring with someone that knows what they are doing I will get my *** handed to me, my biggest issue is the stamina, If I can increase that I would be quite a bit better. Why do guys who get One Girl! Change who they are?

Long story short, I started at this sixth form late, made friends quick because I socialise well, there was one girl in the college that I had an eye for. However whilst befriending people further I found out that a friend of mine liked her as well. I presumed it was just a momentarily thing as it was for me, so we kind of left it there and just became good friends, then I was down one day and he was like whats up, you can tell your best friend, but it was nothing big. So few months p and as I'm the observant type I could tell that he was falling in love with her not just a like thing, so I asked him, but he was too shy to make a move, so I was kidding with him and told him he has a 3 month window, to make his move or I would take her off his hands, it was a bit y I know but it was just to push him, because I also saw that she liked him too, but I knew there was no way she was going to make the first move, which is why I pushed him. He was pissed when I told him about the 3 month window but he didn't show how pissed and when I made one little joke, a racy joke but there was no offense behind it or nothing just a friendly one which he found funny, but then when we were in cl he started arguing with me, so in my defence I argued back, I got angry because he wasn't making a point about why he was arguing, so when he started saying stupid things I replied with even more stupid things. After that we didn't speak for ages, then another friend of both of ours took the piss out of him, however he forgave him the next day. Then the he started taking the piss out of this guy who he forgave infront of the girl he liked, in attempt to show off, and the third friend let him have it because he knew he was trying to impress her, the second time he did it he managed to push him to the flower which naturally pissed him off and he retaliated by throwing him at the lockers and was about to punch him cause he pushed him to the floor hard and randomly until some guy stopped him, yet he forgave him again, which I now know for a fact why, because this other friend of ours isn't interested in the girl, but he thinks I am. So he's scared of losing her to me, but I told him, I said I'm sorry for what I said, I only did it for your benefit, and he gave me some more bullshit like it was some other reason, now I don't want to embarr him infront of her, but why is he gonna get rid of a friend who stood up for him when other guys tried to bully him for some girl who he can never do anything with because she's pretty much wearing a chastidy belt that's not open to any guy until her dad says so.....

I've got �10 .. what shall i cook for dinner?

We do this nice thing where we cook the chicken (however you want - fry/roast/grill etc - and then cut it up into small chunks, then cook some pasta. Whilst pasta is cooking, cut up some tomatoes, spring onions, onions, cuber etc and put everything in a big bowl. Then add loads of mayonnaise and maybe some peppercorns. It's lovely ... :)

Can I mix walnut hulls AND tag Alder together for a darker hair dye?

I am allergic to commercial hair dye. I have used walnut hulls for dye before but it is not dark enough to cover my grays in my dark brown hair. The grays are no longer gray but still stick out because they look lighter brown than the rest of my hair. Would combining several of these natural darkening remedies work to make the dye darker? Maybe combinations of sage, walnut and tag alder + coffee? Has anyone tried this? Would there be any reason not to? *because my hair is curly I am not interested in henna as it straightens curly hair-I like my curls.

Manual car bucking when it needs to be shifted?

Just bought a '95 Geo Prizm, 5-speed, I had the transmission replaced, and another part like a fan or something that was closely related to the transmission. (I don't know anything about cars, by the way) I was bringing it back from the mechanic it was doing this terrible bucking or jerking so I brought it back. They replaced the fuel injection pump and did a tune up and also added some coolant and power steering fluid cause they knew I was pissed that I had to bring it back. It's still bucking, but not as bad, usually right around when it needs to be shifted at like 2500 to 3000rpm and sometimes even goes to 4000rpm. It also does it almost all the time when it's on the highway, basically when its going faster than 55. I had my dad check it out, he couldn't find anything and he drove it and said it was driving great except for the bucking. It only does it when my foot is on the gas though. The mechanic said that it was sitting on the lot for awhile and it might have bad gas, I filled the tank and put some gas additive in it to help clean it out. Only a slight difference though. Any thoughts? Remember I don't know anything about cars. Thanks.

New ways to eat tomatoes?

Well at least new to me. Preferably raw. I have about 15 different varieties of tomatoes planted, mostly heirlooms, and expect them to start coming in big time in the next month or so. I love fresh, ripe tomatoes (that's why I grow them) and won't even touch those "joke tomatoes" they sell in the stores. Mostly I slice the big ones and make tomato sandwiches. The smaller ones go in salads. Sometimes I cook up pasta and simply put sliced tomatoes, oil spices and grated cheese on it. But, alas, this ripe tomato time of the year is relatively short and the rest of the year is more or less a tomato famine. Ergo, I'm looking for as many ways to enjoy these fruits as possible while I have them. As I said, raw is better. Obviously there are a lot of recipes on the various culinary web sites but what I'm looking for are the "down homey," unique recipes that people have come up with on their own.

Unexpected mage?

I received my first swedish mage last week and it went a little strange. The mgae therapist recomended that I be nude under the draping which wasn't a big deal being that it is common. What I felt was awkward was that about midway through the mage while lying on my stomach, he lifted the draping all the way up to the small of my back leaving my behind completely exposed. Can you answer two questions about the Anime Higurashi?

I am hoping that people who are familiar with anime and hopefully with this show would be able to answer two questions about Higurashi. The first question which will be the easiest one of the two is this: What order are you suppose to watch Higurashi in so that you can understand or hopefully understand what is going on? The second question is about something that I read about which involves a Japanese girl killing her dad with a bill hook cleaver and how the people blame the anime because Rena's weapon of choice is a cleaver. I can understand why people would want to blame the anime, but what I don't understand is that they chose not to dub it because of this incident. I may be stating the obvious here, but people are going to kill people whether the anime is subbed or dubbed, so why not just finish dubbing the anime? I mean, even if you don't finish dubbing Higurashi doesn't mean that people are going to not kill people with cleavers if they wanted to. If you're not going to finish dubbing it, then why finish subbing it? It makes no sense to me. Even if you sub it, it still contains the killings in it. That means there is really no difference except the voices. If everything is still the same in it, then why don't they just continue to dub it so that it can be both subbed and dubbed, then no one will be the wiser. I'm not glad about what the girl did, I'm just saying that you shouldn't stop dubbing an Anime like Higurashi just because of the incident.

Paint the cabinets and while the paint is still wet sprinkle the cabinets with glitter. After it dries cover the cabinets with a coat of clear varnish. I did this to my cell phone using glitter and clear nail polish to create my own cover. As long as you cover the glitter with some type of varnish it won't flake off. My phone glitter never came off and it was in and out of my purse, etc.

I was Wiccan for a short time during my teen years. I never really came out of the closet willingly. My grandmother found out I was taking Wicca cles (I lied about my age to get into them) and immediately thought I was worshipping the devil. My dad saw my pentagram and thought I had converted to Judaism. But it all blew over. I'm no longer Wiccan though. Still pagan, just working with "darker" deities.

Chinchilla Mucus at ?

We have 2 chinchillas. We've had the older one for 7 months and the baby for 1 1/2 months. My baby chin is about 3 1/2 mos old, she's been healthy and she isn't showing any signs of illness now, however, while holding her tonight I noticed that her poops were coming out attached to a string of clear mucus. The poops aren't soft, they're not oddly shaped. They just seem to be coming out coated in a layer of mucus. The hair around her "little area" is sticky and she has some white crusty which I ume is dried up mucus. The only major change she has experienced is the bedding in her cage. For simplicity in cleaning the cage, we tried a clay cat litter in place of the paper or wood chip bedding. Is cat litter known as a taboo for chinchilla bedding? Is there another reason she might be sliming?

Managing a project at university seems a real struggle. I am doing a degree in CIS because a degree is one of the basic and very useful requirements towards my career ambition. Mainly because of the personal strengths and focus it encourages rather than the subject itself. However, even though I am in my third and final year, because most of this work is project based, I have real trouble finding motivation and planning and structuring it. My mind always wonders off and I can't concentrate. My lecturer witters on about "academic underpinning" and crap loads of research which is life sifting for a needle in a haystack just to "confirm" or "support" ideas that I know could work anyway. It makes the process laborous and boring. I'm much more the kind of person who can actively do the types of work where I see the direct result of my effort and stimulate my creativity in a "hands on" type of way than all this academic sludge. What can anyone suggest on this? How can I get my brain round the hidiousness of this project? The weight of looming deadlines and other concurrent projects to deal with hangs heavily on top of me giving my brain a "paralysis" where I get nothing done. I'd sooner bugger off to the other side of the world for a good sodding break!

Why are the new growths on my prickly pear cactus long & thin?

Do I have a legal case if the listing agent accepts another offer after we have entered into escrow?

We have been in escrow now for a few months and the house that we want to buy was appraised for lower than the purchased price. We still want the property and are willing to negotiate with the seller. After the listing agent found out that the house was overpriced, she started to avoid our phone calls and faxes. I had a feeling that the seller will have to go into a short sale because he already owes more than he is selling the house for. We finally got a hold of the agent and she told us that the seller will have to enter into a short sale. She said that we would have to resubmit another offer and compete with other buyers. In the mean time, we found out that she had taken another offer to the bank while she was stalling with us. It was probably someone that she was representing. I do not understand how this can happen since we have not cancelled escrow. Do I have a legal case since we have a binding contract and escrow. It was my understanding that we have priority, even if the house goes into short sale while in escrow.

You should substitute a more healthy cereal for fruit loops, they're just sugar. Try Cheerios or raisin bran or something. You definitely need more nourishment in your diet. A bowl of gs is not dinner. Lean cuisine would be better. Add some veggies in there too, some green beans or broccoli- something green. If you're really serious about losing weight, try weight watchers and count points, you get to eat some stuff, so you're more likely to stick with your diet. Also try to get 30 minutes of cardio in a day. Good luck.

Cheapdate was a magazine from around the early 2000s all about thrifting, in other words secondhand/vintage clothes. I heard about it ages ago and finally managed to get my hands on the only one left in print, the 1st colour one from 2002. I've googled it to find out when and why it stopped being published but all I've found is interviews with it's creators, Bay Garnett and Kira Joliffe, from around 2002 and a Cheapdate website that hasn't been updated in years. Defrost?!?!?!? It's not an A/C...it's a dehumidifier. The water that it takes out of the air has to go somewhere. Do you have it dripping into a reservoir that you're supposed to empty or do you have a hose connected to it that runs to a drain? You can't just turn it on and let it go.

When I cast on to knit, should my loops be criss-crossed?

Casio Keyboards really aren't that great. They're quite cheap, Yamaha Keyboards are actually better, but it matters what model it is as well, so you can't just say Casio. But usually Yamaha is better.

In my experience, physics is either hard or easy depending on the person. There isn't usually an inbetween. I love science and math so I found it easy. That said, I know many people who just do not understand it. You seem to have a well balanced schedule and you should consider taking physics next year. I don't know about your school, but three years of foreign language are needed to graduate and you do Not want to put those off until later. You seem to be pretty capable of beasting that schedule.

Sound is transmitted in two primary ways. Through openings such as small cracks and directly through materials. What stops it is to close up the cracks and add m to reduce transmission through materials. The first place I would look is to windows. Caulk and glaze them where needed. Add storm windows if you don't have them. Caulk the inside of the windows too, not just the outside. Caulking the top and bottom of the baseboard may help. Putting some sort of sound absorbing material i.e. foam in a shroud around vent intakes and outlets may help, may not. Adding a floor to the attic may help a little, I would use drywall as it is dense, cheap and fire resistant. Do what is called fire taping it, by putting just the first coat of mud and tape. It would not make a floor that can be walked on though.
