Being a lawyer doesn't necessarily mean going to court; I do mostly estate planning and real estate closings, or as I sometimes tell people, "anything that keeps me out of a courtroom." You don't necessarily have to have a forceful, outgoing type of personality to succeed as a transactional type of lawyer. And just because someone is quiet and reserved doesn't even mean they can't be an effective trial lawyer...you don't necessarily have to be loud and obnoxious to be good at making your point to the judge and jury.
